Help create a new kind of zoo

Hi, my name is Katie, and I'm the founder of a new company that's working in partnership with a team of visionary, technical, and creative experts to bring to life a completely new kind of zoo experience that involves zero animal captivity.

ZooAtronic will be a physical space where the extraordinary world of animals and natural habitats are elevated and celebrated without the use of any real animals. It will be a place of discovery for all - to contemplate, to wonder and to connect. 

In new innovative and immersive ways visitors will see, and learn about, animals and natural habitats from around the world that need our understanding and protection. Visitors, will gain a tangible understanding of the differences that each of us can make as individuals, and collectively, for a better tomorrow.

WHY DO WE NEED ZOOATRONIC

We all have some awareness of the state of our planet. We're destroying our only home. Worse, we know it's happening, and people in leadership aren't doing enough to avert the crisis. Earth's natural resources are being drained at an irrecoverable rate. Other animal species are treated ashamedly - abused, exploited, and killed daily in their thousands. While precious, biodiverse habitats are bulldozed and obliterated.

We are facing catastrophic global ecological collapse. We must give up old ways of thinking and old habits. 

It's time for new ideas - it's time to act. Our over-arching aim is to empower change and inspire people as advocates for nature.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

To date I have self-funded the business development but I have now reached a stage that requires additional investment. I'm calling on everyone who wants to save the planet and see long lasting change for animals to join me. We believe ZooAtronic offers an exciting opportunity to use innovation and technology to inspire understanding, empathy, and action through immersive entertainment. Help us make ZooAtronic a reality. Your donation will help us complete the next necessary stage of research and development for this hugely exciting project, bringing us one step closer to completion. The business case analysis from this work stage will refine the vision and is intended to help us unlock further private and public funding to move the project closer to a successful opening.

HIGHLIGHTING THE RISK

Developments to date have been extremely promising and exciting, but I can't guarantee (yet!) that ZooAtronic will reach final completion. The next stage of research and development involves a detailed economic performance analysis and other important research that will inform our detailed business case. To follow, we will assess potential sites and secure more substantial investment for final development and planning stages ahead of the build. 

We will face challenges along the way. However, we have a fantastic, dedicated team in place and a lot of support. What I can assure you is that I will do everything I can to ensure that ZooAtronic becomes a reality. My drive and ambition comes from over 20 years of working within the animal welfare and conservation charity sector. All the animals and people that I have met around the world provide my motivation. I can assure you that your donation will be spent responsibly to help us further this venture. If we hit a wall that we can't get around and we've exhausted all our options, I will donate any remaining raised funds in our account to carefully selected charities and I will of course share updates along the journey to keep you informed. IS ZOOATRONIC A REGISTERED CHARITY?

We aren't registered as a charity. ZooAtronic is a limited company registered in England and Wales which is the right structure to enable us to raise significant capital through investment later in our journey. We have a clear goal to operate responsibly much like a social enterprise, balancing profit with purpose to ensure that our activities contribute a positive impact for wildlife, local and global environments, communities, society, and local economy. When the attraction is operational we aim to establish a foundation to support individuals, communities, and organisations around the world who are working on solutions-based projects to protect and regenerate our natural world.
