Rescue of Native Wildlife

Weipa Wildlife Care are a remote non profit charity who rely on donations and our own personal money. 
We are a volunteer wildlife rescue group caring for sick, injured and orphaned wildlife.

We get hundreds of animals come into care a year and as we are based remotely we struggle to get funding. Usually it costs approx $20,000 - $30,000 a year to care for our sick and injured wildlife for the Cape. 

We do not have a vet so we usually have to send our animals by plane to nearest city in Cairns 800km away (very costly), also administer medications, food and cages.

All donations will go towards all the medical supplies, housing and food to better the welfare and condition of these beautiful creatures.

Beauty is not who you are on the outside, it is the wisdom and time you gave away to save another struggling soul.
