Mission Trip to Ukraine

About 15 years ago, a little brunette girl knew that she wanted to help people.  No one, least of all her, had any idea where this simple, clear desire would take her. As a child, Audrey Adamson loved to read.  Just like lots of other girls, she took care of her sibling, volunteered, played in the band and went to college.  But this young lady majored in psychology.  Because she wanted to help people.  And she earned a CNP at the same time.  Because she wanted to help people.

There were times and seasons when Audrey didn’t live the way she knew He wanted her to live.  But, all of that time, God worked in her heart and in life.  Even in times of her own clear rebellion against His love and purpose, He silently worked.

As you probably know, Audrey has faced physical challenges in her life since her teen years.  If you know that she struggled, you also know that she fought.  She fought to live.  She fought to live a life that mattered. Now God has brought her to a time where she changes lives on a daily basis at Bridges of Faith, a non-profit dedicated to changing the lives of the 100,000+ Ukrainian orphans.

Audrey, who works as a domestic missionary locally, is ready to step up her game. This March BOF will be going to Ukraine to provide Vacation Bible School-esque lessons during the children’s school break. The children who stay at the orphans during the break have NO ONE in their lives and visits from missionaries are their only opportunity to connect on a deeper level with others outside of their orphanage.

Audrey needs about $2,500 for this trip. This includes fees for a passport ($130 is needed very quickly). BOF is able to give her a small subsidiary but the rest she must raise on her own. The rest of the amount includes those fees and spending money for the trip. Please consider helping Audrey take her work international!
