Zion Kids Palace is an Early Learning Center in Western Uganda (East Africa) and is looking for Well wishers and institutions for Education and Expansion Partnership in Early Childhood Education and Development.
Our mission is to enhance and lift quality of education during early learning stages at the Grass-root.
Our desire is that these children will grow active and creative minds, develop a passion for others, and have the courage to act on their beliefs.
We focus on thetotal development of each child's spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, and physical growth via a faith-based perspective.
Zion is currently running a center with more than 100 Pupils with little resources from directors and parents contributions and yet there's still a demand in the surrounding areas for the services. We are therefore calling upon you to Assist in any way possible Especially in Construction of Well Water/Water Extension Project among many other requirements like A school Van for Transporting Pupils to and from School,Construction of bigger spacious Class room Blocks & library,Donation of old Learning Materials ,outdoor play materials,books,toys etc,
What the $30,000 will do for our Existing 100 children and more Expected 8,000 who need this service
1. Construction of Shallow water well /Water Extension. We have no water source now,We buy water from a commercial source with a bicycle . Cost of this will be $6,200.
2. Purchase a van to transport the children to and from school. They walk long distances and others use commercial Boda Boda cyclsists Who ferry like 7 kids on 1 motorcycle and a few can afford the charges for this. The Cost of reconditioned van is $ 6,000.
3.Learning Aids and materials $ 331
4.Outdoor Playing materials $ 7,000
5.Expansion on the existing classroom structures for a well ventilated and bigger Spacious and condusive learning Environment (4 blocks) with admin block and library that will cost $ 9669. We are already laying 50,000 bricks locally.
