Brett & Amanda Smith Adoption Fund

For 14 years we have prayed for a child. We never knew what God had in store for us until August of 2017. Brett and I were given the opportunity to be a Mother and a Father to a beautiful, blonde hair, blue-eyed, little girl. We weren’t expecting things to happen this way, we just knew when it was time God would work it out. We had just moved in our house that we remodeled ourselves over the past 5 years when we got the call about our little girl. We were getting a new home and a new family…a Blessing!! After praying and deciding to move forward with this new journey, we began the quick and fast process of mountains of paperwork and classes to get our little girl. After a few months, which went by quickly…we were approved and set to go and meet and get our little girl. On January 1, 2018; we drove to Enterprise, Alabama so excited and nervous at the same time. We were going to get to meet her for the first time! She had been in foster care since she was six weeks old, and she now was a year old. We got to meet her on the 2nd, which was amazing, and on the 3rd we were heading back home…as a Family! It was an overwhelming and emotional experience to say the least. But we knew God was in control! We have completed the Foster Care part and she has transitioned from her foster home to ours! With the Love and Support from Family and Friends, we are now ready for the next part!! Our Adoption!! My Aunt and Uncle wanted to help us with this blessing by having a benefit to help us with the cost of the adoption and all the fees that it entails. We personally thank each and every one who has been a part of our Journey…God Bless!!
