Get Stefan's graduate gear back

My name is stefan. I am a 2nd year photography graduate student and photo instructor at the University of New Mexico.  

          While in an art critique, my classroom was robbed and some of my most valuable tools and belongings were stolen from me. 

           In all, the loss of my laptop, new digital SLR and lens, as well as a large backup hard drive with years of work were the most hard hitting. 

These were all expensive tools that I have worked so hard to afford in the persuit of my craft, tools that will be financially very difficult for me to replace in my current situation.

Now without my gear and work, I am unfortunately at an extreme disadvantage in my degree track. Without my tools I am unable continue to make new work and continue long term projects. 

I am currently at a pinnacle point half way through my degree and MUST keep going in order to achieve my MFA. 

     In light of this awful wrong I am humbly asking for your assistance, whatever the amount, to help me continue my life's work and replace the tools that were so selfishly stolen from me.

It is imperative that I have a working camera, computer and hard drive to function, not only within my artistic pursuits, but also as a working photographer to provide for myself. 
         Any and all donations will be strictly used to replace these items.

It is hard to describe the defeat and angerI felt in the wake of this theft. Likewise it will also be next to impossible to show my true graditude to those that help me.
     In return I am afraid all I have to offer is my work, but it will be work that was made possible by generous donations.

My hope is that I raise enough money to get my tools back...
