Zero Waste Reusables Project
Donation protected
A note from me, Katrina, founder of the reusable dishware project:
Looking to rent dishware and cutlery for your next event or gathering? Consider the Reusable Dishware Project. I'm a firm believer in promoting the value of secondhand. This is why the dishware and cutlery in the collection are all 100% preloved and preowned. The inventory is 100% sourced from thrift stores and in-kind donations. Please help spread the love and let others know about this project.

The Zero Waste Station at Withrow Farmers' Market stops waste created from single-use items! To date we've washed over 12,000 items! Read more about it here: Zero Waste Station at the farmers' market
Reusables are the best overall path to reducing our landfill use. Much of take-out packaging offered today is coated in plastic making it garbage according to the City of Toronto's waste collection guidelines. Biodegradable plastic is garbage. Bamboo cutlery is garbage. Compostable cutlery is garbage. Plastic, but not black, that is cleaned first can go into the blue bin. Black plastic is garbage.
REUSE is the only real way to stop garbage from hitting our landfills! We've got to show this planet some more LOVE!
Thank-you for supporting this program.
