Our Drummer Colie
Donation protected
On Sunday 12th of July, we received the sad news that Nicole (Colie), a member of our drum corp had been rushed to the Royal Victoria Hospital with chronic heart failure. She was then transferred to the Mater Hospital, Dublin and is still in a very critical condition while undergoing a lot of treatment.
As we are a small band, we have decided to set this page up to raise some funds for her family. Her mum, sister and brother are currently staying down in Dublin with her. She has a little son (2), who is currently staying with friends and relatives while she remains in hospital.
On Monday 13th of July, the band walked their annual twelfth route, but kept a space between the drummers were Colie would usually be. We also had green, red and black ribbons from our bannerette and flags which represent Glentoran Football Club - the team that Colie loves.
As a band, we wish nothing more than Colie to make a full and speedy recovery and to be back in our ranks with her precious drum. We aim to raise enough money to cover all the expenses for this family during this time.
Much thanks,
Members of the Lower Woodstock FB
