Our Drummer Colie
As we are a small band, we have decided to set this page up to raise some funds for her family. Her mum, sister and brother are currently staying down in Dublin with her. She has a little son (2), who is currently staying with friends and relatives while she remains in hospital.
On Monday 13th of July, the band walked their annual twelfth route, but kept a space between the drummers were Colie would usually be. We also had green, red and black ribbons from our bannerette and flags which represent Glentoran Football Club - the team that Colie loves.
As a band, we wish nothing more than Colie to make a full and speedy recovery and to be back in our ranks with her precious drum. We aim to raise enough money to cover all the expenses for this family during this time.

We received an update from Colie's mum last night, with some fab news.
Colie is now OFF life support, and awake and talking. While there is still a long time to go before full recovery, the family are hoping to have her transferred back up to the RVH.
Her mum says she is overwhelmed by the level of support given to her and the family from both sides of the community, which just goes to show that religion doesn't matter when both sides come together.
We just want to take a few minutes to thank everyone who has donated. When we as band decided to set up this page to help raise a few £ for the family, we never expected to reach the amount we have done.
We are very grateful to all those who have sent in kind messages of support, donated money on the page, and shared across social media over the past few days. We were really touched that the facebook page 'LAD' among others shared our page, and that many communities have now banded together to help raise money for Colie & her family. Also special thanks to Belfast Live who published a story on Friday evening as well.
Colie is still in hospital in Dublin, and still in a critical condition. She was unable to fly across to Newcastle as first intended, due to a deterioration in her condition, hence the fact she is now in Dublin under specialist care.
On behalf of her family, we would like to thank those who got in touch re extra support while in Dublin. It can be very confusing to know where to go and what families are entitled to during this scary time.
It will be a long time before Colie is back up on her feet, and back on her drum, so the money raised will continue to support her and her family as they commute up and down to Dublin, and to help care for her little son.
Keep praying for Colie & her family at this time.
