yesterday was a very sad day for lots of friends and family members. We lost a great, happy, loving, free spirit, very inspirational young man. Austin Gilliam lost his life due to a semi and bicycle accident in Stuart fl. Monday July 14. Due to this horrible tragedy the family has to pay for the funeral costs. We will know more about his service today. As friends family and you, we can help by donating anything you have to help this family. Anything is appreciated. Thank you

To Austin's friends and family. My deepest sympathies. I had the pleasure of knowing this young man and he called my daughter and little sister, his little sister's. He called me mom, and was always always there for my daughter Makenzie when she needed him. I remember just back a few months ago she broke up with her boyfriend and was upset he drove from where he lived all the way here, showed up on my door step just to hug her and tell her how much her bug brother loved her. I can not imagine what you must be going through, but I pray God gives you peace. Knowing how much he was loved by the community just warms my heart. Much love to you all and God Bless. He will be greatly missed!

So sorry for your loss. Austin would stop by my classroom to see the students cooking and to ask how my day was going just because. So sad.

Condolences from my father's heart. I'm a writer at a local paper, Your Voice News & Views. I'm doing a story about a PSL cyclist who was hit and seriously injured in May and is now trying to make things safer for riders. I, too, was hit while riding in Stuart on March 13. I'd like to talk with y'all about Austin Robert. Please email me at pmccallister@yourvoiceweekly.com.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Austin was such a close friend to me. I met him at grace family church. He was one of my closest friends and I could only imagine what you guys could be going through. You're in my prayers every night. I would love to come to the service. So if there's any details let me know. Austin was a great kid and just know he didn't die in vain but as in inspiration to others. He will always be remembered and loved.

During my time involved with Maine East Football I spent a lot of time with Austin preparing for the line men challenge every year . He wanted to win it so bad and was on the team that did. It meant so much to him to be part of that family. Austin will be missed by all his brothers

Austin was a special part of the Maine East Football team. It was a pleasure to coach a boy that loved being a part of his team as much as Austin did. He was a very caring young man that loved everyone. All that knew him will remember him always. Sincere condolences to his family.
