Zambia trip 2018 - Megan Davies

This October I am going on a trip to Zambia with my school in association with the charity 'Beyond Ourselves' to aid the community there. To increase awareness for this trip, I and two others, who will be accompanying me on the trip, are going to complete a walk from Essex to the Zambian Embassy in Kensington, London. The walk will be about 25 miles, therefore any donations will be greatly appreciated.

Throughout this trip we will be involved in helping children and teachers in the local schools by acting as teaching assistants and contributing to sports and activities. In addition to this, I will be visiting local homes, businesses and attending church to build a sustainable relationship that will challenge my understanding on the issues of poverty, aid and development. All money raised will go directly into funding this trip so I can help others. The money I am hoping to raise will pay for the medical fees, which are required for this trip, and the rest will go into the cost of flights.

I hope the work I put in will pay off when I'm out there and discover I have hopefully made a positive impact on others' lives. Any donations would mean a massive amount to me, as my school and I attempt to benefit the community and my life for the better. Thank you very much.
