Zahra's 5th Birthday Donation Party

As I was searching through a million overly commercialized themes for Zahra's birthday I realized that she is old enough to choose her own theme. The following conversation occurred.
Me: What do you want to do for your birthday?
Zahra: (thinking) I got a lot of presents for Christmas. So can I share my birthday this year?
Me: (Assuming she meant sharing with her brother and sister) Sure we can do whatever you want.
Zahra: I want to give my presents to the animals.
Me: (Greatly confused) What animals? Our dogs?
Zahra: No, the animals that were rescued and live on a safe farm. (We were discussing zoos, circuses and sanctuaries about a week earlier.)
Me: You want to give all of your presents to an animal sanctuary? You realize that means you will not get any presents to open this year. The animals will get them instead.
Zahra: (thinking again) Yes. That's what I want to do. (pause) But can we still have cupcakes?
So here we are. I am setting up a donation page where we will be collecting small monetary 'birthday donations' which will then be presented to CJ Acres Animal Rescue a 501c3, all volunteer, nonprofit animal sanctuary in Florida. I have had the great honor of meeting Lee Sackett and some of his helpers and herd at a few events in Florida over the past couple of years and Zahra has sponsored a turkey from there in the past. We contacted Farmer Lee (as Zahra calls him) to tell him about Zahra's birthday wish and he is honored that his lovely herd has been chosen. I asked Zahra how much money she wanted to try to raise and in her most serious and grown up voice she said: "Ten. Ten moneys." <3
Her birthday is on February 26th and she will be turning 5. Please join me in donating to her birthday fund for the animals. On her birthday we will close the donations and the money will be given to CJ Acres. (And then we shall eat cupcakes!!!)
