Zacks Brain tumour surgery

My son who's About to turn 18 had his first seizure this on Mother's Day may the 8th 2016. That first day he had 3 huge tonic clonic seizures, by about day 3 he would have 16 full tonic clonic seizures and many absence seizures. He spent 11 days in hospital having lots more tonic clonic seizures and tests and scans. He was put on epilim and was still having seizures every 3 weeks and ended back in hospital for a few days. July I was told he has a small grade glioma on the front left hippocampus. Then to add to that he was told he has epilepsy by the neurosurgeon 3 weeks later. He was on large doses of Epilim and also has blood pressure issues. He is now on keppra which side effects are anger issues, and mood swings and weight gain, also tegretol and amlodipine (for blood pressure). So now he is doing more tests In the next few months, then maybe by Christmas will be getting the surgery to remove the brain tumour. The past year he has been in and out of hospital every 3 weeks. Our longest stay at home was 9 weeks a couple of months ago. But now has more sickness and has to take medication for that. Recently his neurosurgeon said she wouldn't do the surgery. That was a huge hit for him. Broke my heart. So I have been researching everything I can do find someone to do it. I'm a single mum of 4 (17 zack, 14 Aly, 9 Bre , 2 Jett) I have resigned from my job to be my sons full time carer. It has definitely taken its toll financially. This condition has stopped him from finishing his course, getting a job, getting his licence, the list goes on. I want to be able to raise money to be able to better support him and be able to see Charlie Teo in Sydney for his surgery. The cost of this surgery is approx $90,000 - $100,000. Every little bit helps. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. #zackattack
