Zachery Ruppel's Legacy

Zachery Ruppel left this life way to soon. He had a heart of gold, admired by all that had the opportunity to meet him. He had an infectious smile that lit up the room and he absolutely loved when you would just listen to him talk for hours about the simplest of things. Zak had a love for motorcycles, camping, hiking, snowboarding and anything that got him to enjoy the mountains and outdoors. Any chance he could, he gave the biggest, most genuine bear hugs that consumed you with his unconditional love. Colorado was his home away from home.

His passion was driven by his motivation to protect and defend all of us. This led to him earning the rank of Eagle Scout and obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Cyber Security. He would do anything to help anyone, no matter who they were. And now we ask you to help us carry on Zachery’s legacy by making a donation to establish a scholarship in his name to help another young individual pursue their passion in Cyber Security at Champlain College.

Looks like GoFundMe is seeking additional information so here it goes.  For those of you that don't know us, we are Zak's parents.  Although we raised Zak in New Hampshire (and he resided in Colorado), we now live in North Carolina.  This campaign has been initiated so that we can create a scholarship in Zak's name and offer it to students attending Champlain College in the study of Cyber Security.  We will work closely with the school to establish this scholarship.
