Zach's Field of Dreams

Hi! My name is Zach, and I can finally say that I'm adopted!!!  In late 2015, my #ProjectZach community cheered when I finally headed into a foster-to-adopt situation. Since I was fearful and reactive, needing to be the only dog in a household with no children, it had been very difficult to place me. Barely two years old, my life depended on this move being my last. Their hopes were almost dashed when I started to act up in unexpected ways a few months later and my trainer and rescue realized it was because theit 10x6 yard didn't give me lots of room to play fetch and toss my Jolly Ball around.

My heightened reactiveness already prohibited me from being walked or exercised outside my home, so it wasn't looking good for me, again, due to no fault of my own. My fosters weren't willing to give up that easily and decided to pursue an alternate solution: buying a brand new house with a 4,000 sq ft yard. To add to my predicament, the house was delayed six months and we had to move to temporary housing. With a little big bigger yard I started to improve so we knew we were on the right track. Phew! By the time we finally moved into the new digs, the builder had gone under and couldn't finish the landscaping. I was devastated!

With all of our family's savings tied into the house we didn't have any more capital to finish the project. Don't tell my mom but I've even raised some money by selling my lightly used toys and unused items on eBay. Sadly it isn't enough. This is where you come in.

Can you help me finance my dream?

Pretty please, with a cherry on top? I'd like for nothing more than to feel the cool grass under my paws. To turn that sandy, muddy pit below into my Field of Dreams. Truth be told, I am not getting any younger, so every day without a yard is one less opportunity to enjoy it! I promise I'll invite you over for a BBQ once its done! ;)

Lots of wet kisses and hugs! Spread the word! (
