The weekend of July 11-12 we loaded everything that my daughter, Katherine, owns in the world into a uhaul and began our journey cross country. We arrived in Dallas mid day Sunday and stayed at the Ramada Dallas North. During the night of Sunday July 12, our uhaul was stolen with everything that she had in the world. So now she has to completely start over with clothing and everything. Several people have asked how they could help so I have set up this account. Thank you all for your help and God bless you.

As Katherine's mother I want to thank each and every person who has been so amazing in sharing with my daughter. She has always been a blessing every where she went. I would love to personally thank each and every person who is blessing her. You all are simply amazing.

Kristy

From Katherine:

Wow. I am so overwhelmed by the generosity of the children of God. For every prayer, petition, and penny, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. If there's ever been a question of the provision of God, it has been turned into a statement: God provides and abundantly so! I pray that you are blessed 10 times everything you gave of your time, things, and money. I pray that God makes me a good steward of His provision and that I continue to boldly speak His name to His people. Know that I am so thankful and I have prayed for every single name and anonymous written. Be blessed, Katherine Bateman

I am just absolutely amazed at the love and generosity and the outpouring of prayers and support that have been given to Katherine and my family this week. It has been a truly emotional time in our lives and she has been handling this with true grace. Tonight she visited a church and the sermon was on forgiving those who have wronged you. What a blessing!!

I am so sorry that this happened to you. It happened to us too this past Saturday. 26 foot truck with our whole life in it was stolen from a hilton parking lot in Roseville CA. My wife is a teacher too. I wish you the best. We will all persevere.

Katherine I have lots of great supplies for the elementary school level. I would love to donate all to you and your school. Please let me know if you would like and I will drive them down to you. wonderingsusie@yahoo.com I live in Plano which is very close. I moved to Texas from another state all by myself to start my teaching career too, and I know how hard it is. All the best to you.

I've shared this with several hundred people with hopes that you are made way beyond whole from this unfortunate experience. I hope that you don't hold it against us here in TEXAS. We really are friendly, and once you get settled in here, you'll see that. In the meantime, may God bless you. And, thank you for taking on the challenge of teaching.

I am so sorry that this happened to you. To uproot yourself, especially at such a young age, to come be the footprint of children's lives takes courage and speaks volumes as to the dedication and commitment you have to teaching. You are truly an inspiration. I pray that, in the midst of this experience, comes many blessings. Praying for you in Allen.
