Tina's Breast Cancer Fund

Donation protected
On August 14, 1998 our mother lost her battle with breast cancer. 17 years later to the day my 30 year old sister, Kristina Colston, was also diagnosed with breast cancer. This came as a total shock to her and our family. Kristina is the most caring, bubbly, fun, beautiful, and brave person I know and it is so unfair that at 30 years old she has to endure such a hardship. Her prognosis is positive and she will put up one hell of a fight.

The next few months will definetely be a challenge for her. She has made a courageous decision to undergo a double mastectomy and reconstruction. It is uncertain whether she will need to have chemotherapy or radiation at this point. Being that she is so young, to ensure she will be able to have children in the future she would also need to freeze her eggs. This is not covered by medical insurance. I am starting this fund to try and help my sister with this huge financial burden she has unexpectedly came upon.

Any donation would be greatly appreciated and will be put towards:
- Tina's surgery and reconstruction.
- Medical treatment costs.
- All procedures necessary to protect her fertility.
- All bills and expenses that add up when she is out of work and any other unexpected costs.

Any funds that she does not use will be donated to help other women battling breast cancer in the future.
