Help me help my best friend

Kenzie is my very first dog, and I fell in love with her when she was 2 days old. Our bond has only grown over the past 8 and a half years and she is my heart. She has been there for me through my undergrad, and graduate and everything in between. She had a freak accident playing with her brother and got a deep laceration on her back leg. She needed to get stitches and the procedure ended up costing $488. I'm working on my masters program for mental health counseling and am currently in my internship. This has led me to work at my paying job much less while I work towards my degree. Needless to say, funds have been beyond tight and if this wound got infected (by the way it was cut it would have been a pool for infection) I had to do what I had to do and take care of my best friend like she had done for me the last 8+ years. It's important to know when  to ask for help, when your in over your head, for the sake of your own mental health. I ask for anything you can offer in this holiday season, I know times are tough with the holidays. I thank anyone who is able to spare a dollar, or well wishes for a speedy recovery.
