Chelsea & Jack's IVF Journey

***Update*** Hi Everyone! First, we want to thank everyone that has donated, as well provided words of encouragement – we feel really blessed to have you all in our lives, and truly do not have the words to express how much your support means to us.  Over the last few days, we’ve been able to pool together enough resources that, along with the support you all have provided, will allow us to get the process started.  We truly thank you all so much for your love and generosity and your help in getting us get started on our path to parenthood. Although we request that no more donations be made, we could still use all the thoughts, prayers, and encouragement as possible and we begin our journey.  THANK YOU!!!!!! ***************************************************************************************************************************************************************** Hello World!  We are Jack and Chelsea Coleman, and we got married 7 years ago.   While we do have 4 loving fur babies (3 tiny dogs & 1 fat cat) we’ve wanted nothing more than to have a  human family of our very own.  Unfortunately, due to new jobs, new states, etc. we got a later start on building a family than we had hoped.   We finally settled down  a couple of years ago, and began to take starting a family seriously, but like so many others, we could not get pregnant.   After many failed attempts at natural conception, we went down the IUI path and were again unsuccessful.    We finally met with a fertility specialist who confirmed that, due to many factors, our only real chances of bringing a beautiful new life into the world is through IVF, and we need to start the process quickly.     As many of you might know, IVF and all the medications that go along with it can be very expensive.   Unfortunately, neither of our health insurance plans through our jobs cover fertility treatment. We are both very proud (and stubborn) people, and it’s extremely hard for us to put ourselves out there and ask for help, but we’ve come to realize that we simply can’t do this alone.  We humbly ask if you can help us reach our goal of having a family and being the loving parents we’ve always dreamed of being.    Donations of any size would mean the world to us, and those donations will be used towards the cost of the medications and procedures. For those who are not able to donate financially, we ask for all the prayers, encouragement, and positive vibes that you can send our way!  We know that this is going to be a long  and emotional journey, but we also know that with the love and support of  our families, friends, and people around us, we can get through anything.
