Attn friends and family of Rachel and Graeme
Dear friends,
As you know, Rachel and Graems house burnt down in the early hours of July 11. The fire alarms didn't go off and they were woken around 3am, by the furious pounding on their door by their neighbour. They were able to escape, but barely. They ran out with only the clothes on their back and their beloved family pets.
All four family members are safe, including two kids ages 9 and 11 and their 3 pets(dog, hamster, and bunny)
They are devastated. They don't know what is salvageable at this time. Their renters insurance had expired and they hadn't re established it yet. They have no insurance that will cover any of this massive loss.
They will need funds for immediate items such as clothing, food and toiletries. They have temporary housing while they look for another home to rent. They are in need of a 3 bedroom home with a dog for under $2000 on ideally sardis side of chilliwack.
Additionally, they will need funds for furniture, bedding, kitchen items and kids toys/books, as they get back on their feet.
We ask that you open your hearts in aiding Rachel and Graeme. Any amount that you can give will help. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.
