Help Provide Biblical Training!

Hi, my name is Chris Morrison, and I'm one of the co-founders of the Emmaus Biblical Training Center (EBTC). We help train both lay and professional ministers to do the work God has called them to do at a fraction of the cost of traditional theological educational programs. That's becoming increasingly important as many people feel a strong call to ministry but simply cannot afford the years and possibly tens of thousands of dollars associated with formal seminary training.

We believe that if someone wants to be better equipped to live out and share God's Word, then time and finances shouldn't prevent them from doing so. To that end, we offer short, highly focused, and extremely cost effective online training that people can start and stop whenever they want.  No start or end dates. No semester systems or planning around course schedules. All it takes is a computer and the desire to know God more deeply. And if you were wondering, we're working hard at making sure the quality of the education is of the highest caliber, which starts with guaranteeing that all of our instructors have master's level training or better.

To make that happen, we need about $5,000 dollars to launch BIG! We already have one certification program completed, and we're working to complete two others before our summer launch date. The money will help pay instructors to develop new courses, some basic marketing expenses so people can find out about this incredible resource, and possibly to sponsor some ministers who just cannot financially afford the cost of formal education. 

I hope you will prayerfully consider giving EBTC and helping us train people "for the work of the ministry" (Eph 4:12). Even if you can only donate $5 or $10, we'll be grateful for how God is using you to meet this need. And if you can't afford to give anything, would you pray for us and this campaign (write us and let us know you are!) and share this need on your Facebook page and other social media? Also, note that we are getting set up as a non-profit (501c3), so yeah, taxe write-offs and stuff. ;)
