Help Neil Get Better.

On Diwali night, my son Neil was lighting candles around our house. As some of the Mustard Oil spilt on the floor he slipped and fell down 8 steps on a marble stairs. As a consequence, a week later he developed the very serious condition of SEPSIS caused by the severe bruising which followed the fall. This has very serious implications for Neil in that not only is his body being ravaged by the SEPSIS but the leg is severely impacted by the overwhelming infection which needed major surgery to treat the infection. Neil's wounds have not been stitched as they need to keep them clean and open in case they need to be drained of fluid again.


Neil was initially treated in the Local Goverment Hospital, the seriousness of his condition along with the horrific conditions ( Bin & sheets unchanged for 2 days) required his removal to the ICU department at RG hospital in Porvorim. Doctors & Nurses are working extremely hard to control the SEPSIS but this will require a prolonged period in both ICU, Dialysis , more surgery and eventually when infection has cleared and wounds stitched up & healed he will need several skin grafts.

It's a long road to recovery and the cost of going private is terrifying but he would without a doubt not had survived staying where he was.Please pray for Neil and if you can spare anything towards our goal - ANYTHING at all we will forever be grateful.
