In memory of Francis Chiaravalloti

Donation protected
My name is Michelle Chaves.  My dad Francis Chiaravalloti passed away on Tuesday February 2016.  My dad has been sick for so many years.  To tell you the truth, I can't remember when my dad wasn't sick.  He had his first heart attack in 1989.  He then was diagnosed with diabetes, congestive heart failure and pulmunary hypertension 15 years ago which led him to live on oxygen 24 hours a day.  Along with his newly diagnosed COPD, my dad would retain fluid which cause painful blisters all over his legs. He spent his day taking medications, doing treatments, treating his legs and going to the doctors.  Most people would have given up years ago but my dad was a fighter! He loved his family and wanted nothing more than to be there for them.  My dad was always doing for all of us.  His greatest love was watching his grandson play baseball.  My son started playing baseball at the age of 4.  My dad, god willing barely missed a game.  He would drive his cart down to Boutwell fields, buys some french fries and watch his boy!  He always volunteered and every year at Pumkin Fest, the kids would wonder what carnival game would he build next.  He loved the kids!  Although my son no longer plays at Boutwell, it was the best years of our lives.  We want to raise money for a memorial bench, plaque or equipment that we could donate to Hudson Youth Baseball in my dads name.  So we may remember one of the greatest fans of Hudson finest little ball players!
