Eco-Campervan for my Masters

Hi all,
As some of you may know I have been working my butt off over the last few years to ensure I would be accepted for a Masters in Physiotherapy in London. After four years hard work completeing my undergraduate degree I moved from Ireland to London to allow me to gain essential work experience in the field.
To sustain this work experience I have had to invest a majority of my savings. Now, having been successful in my application for a masters, I am in a position where I will not have the funds to pay for London's expensive rent and everyday spending.
With this in mind, after much brain storming I have taken the decision to purchase a van and convert the back into a liveable space. I know alot of people will think I am crazy and that it wont be feasible, but I am determined to make it work.
I am going to maintain this lifestyle by using washing facilities in a local gym and by spending a majority of my time in the library (first class honors guaranteed!).
I am so close to making a life-long goal of mine a reality, and I dont want a lack of funding to be a hurdle I cant overcome. I have tried to get funding and a loan, but unfortunatley as I am a european student and this is a masters degree course it has proved impossible.
I have calculated that I will need £4,000 to make this a reality. This is a massive saving compared to the approx 13k it would cost to rent in London over two years.
With the funding I will purchase the van, insulate it with eco friendly insulation and convert the back to make it a liveable space. I will also install a small solar panel to provide power and keep the van eco friendly. I will also tax and insure the van to make it road legal!
