Support my Dad by supporting me

On September 12, 2015 my father was the victim of a crime. He was severely beaten and left for dead as part of a robbery. Today, gratefully, he is alive . His abilities are limited due to severe brain damage and he is currently living in an assisted living facility. Living in Florida while this happens in New York has left me helpless. In the next coming months I know that I will need to make several trips to check on him, his progression , his care and to follow up on the case.  I'm asking for friends, family and friends of friends and family to help in anyway they can to help me to raise funds for these trips and transportation while I'm there. If you know me you know that sharing this was not easy and asking for help is not something that comes naturally. If you feel compelled to help me with this journey in anyway I would be eternally grateful. Thank you for taking time out of your busy days to read this.
