I am Kathy Webb from Bethune, Colorado. My niece Richele Calvert from Hutchinson, Kansas was involved in the wildfires this past week.
They are a young family of 6. They had just minutes to escape the fires. Unfortunately their home and all belongings and their family dog was lost in this fire.
On top of that, these kid's father, Wayne, has a rare illness which he is on disability for and unable to work. Their middle son, Wesley, has had alot of health problems over the years.
Three years ago after losing their house insurance due to hail damage claims, quotes for insurance coverage have been prohibitively expensive. So unfortunately they had no home insurance.
I ask for anyone who can donate, even any small amount, would be much appreciated. It will be used to help rebuild their home and help to relace their personal belongings. And please share this story with your Facebook friends and your e-mail friends.
