Youth Hockey Promotional Display

The Texas Stars have agreed to a locker room setup "picture spot" to be placed inside the concourse at the games. The idea is we will promote youth hockey, AMHA. Chap, and the Pond during the 8 youth hockey nights this year by bringing in a hockey locker room type display where people (namely kids) can sit and have their picture while sitting in a mock locker room stall surrounded by a variety of hockey gear ranging from older historic and current items like jerseys, sticks. etc... as well as some Rising Stars and Texas Jr. Stars stuff. In the display we will have contact information within the picture frame so the parents can refer to the picture for information. In addition we will hand out information provided to us from AMHA, Pond, and Chap.
I am in need of (enthusiastic) volunteers, here are the most pressing needs.
(1) The locker room needs to be built. Donations are appreciated. It will take about 4 sheets of interior plywood, wood for trim, some hardware (hinges, etc). I am capable of making it with not much a problem but if there are any volunteers to help that would be great too.
(2) Volunteers to man the display. We will do it 8 games, minimum one person at the display full time and another between periods. Hockey kids with parents wearing their jerseys are highly recommended! I believe the games will all be on Saturdays from what I'm told (but can not confirm), Saturday games are generally at 7:00PM.
(3) If anyone has the ability to create signage your help is desperately needed. I don't know exactly what we will require yet but something will be needed.
If there is anything else you can think of to help just contact me. given my son is just starting 8U I don't know very many of the parents in all the age ranges so spread this message to anyone you know who might want to help.
Note this is a parent driven thing and even though there are aspects we will work with the AMHA, Chap, and the Pond with I am hoping we can pull this off by ourselves. I would love to be able to get enough of us together to operate it as a "Hockey Parents" group.
