Youth Bike Repair & Employment

Not many middle and high schoolers are exposed to an environment that fosters valuable life and job skillsThe Village Wrench provides that environment and more through 6 Cycle: a program where youth are trained and encouraged to do community service through bike repair and earn their own bike along the way.

Graduates of 6 Cycle are eligible be hired on to work a part-time paid position at the Village Wrench workshop. Currently, two graduates are working paid positions in the workshop and have dreams for the future. One wants to go into the computer coding field and the other wants to be the first in his family to go to college. Their employment and connection with the Village Wrench is helping them reach their goals

"I have created a great network at the Village Wrench and it has helped me become a better person." - Sully

The job skills and relationships that they're building now will mean a world of difference for impacting their future for the better. The Village Wrench needs your help to keep them employed and help other teens go through the 6 Cycle program.
