My name is Yonatan Tzafir, and I am raising money to see a specialist regarding my hand.
As many of you already know, my family has been hit hardly these past four months. My father was diagnosed with Leukemia. He is fighting the disease ever since. Our God is merciful, and my dad is home, still a long way ahead, but thank God for every prayer and every donation you have made to my family in this difficult time. Two weeks after my dad was in the ICU, I was hit in a major motorcycle accident.
It happened on a Sunday morning. I went out for a ride with my brother to get some coffee and from what the police report said somebody didn't stop on the stop sign and they hit me on the side and I flew off the bike and hit a pole. damaging everything I could on the right side of my body starting from my shoulder to my toes. I broke my hand to the point where the bones were sticking out and they had to remove a piece of my bone because it broke from both sides and there was no way of putting it back and hoping it grows back together again. I had surgery on my hand and they placed two rods holding my bone together which went in from my elbow all the way to my hand. I broke my femur bone and my tibia bone, but surprisingly the kneecap was untouched and perfectly fine but right under the kneecap they had to put a steel plate and right on top of the kneecap they had to put another steel plate and over 28 screws on just my leg alone. And I broke two of the bones that hold my fingers and there's small steel rods holding my bones together. I fractured my hip and some minor damage to my liver so that they had to stitch up.
