Yoga for the Detroit Homeless

I am beginning a yoga class at the Neighborhood Service Organization's (NSO) Tumaini Center in Detroit.  I am hoping to help individuals who experience homelessness combat anxiety and stress with meditation, while creating a program that encourages overall physical health.  

Before I begin my program, I need to purchase and collect yoga mats. I will be gathering enough to keep at the Tumaini center for each class.  Hopefully, if I am able to get enough mats, I will be able to give them to homeless individuals to be utilized for their own yoga practice and even to sleep on, if needed.

I am hoping to raise at least $200 in this endeavor, so even a few bucks helps! Also I am willing to come retrieve any mats (in good condition) that you may have to donate.
