Hi everyone! We are the BEST (Bulgarian English Speech and Debate Tournament) Team from PMG Yane Sandanski High School in Gotse Delchev, Bulgaria.
Our group of 25 students has opportunities to compete in English tournaments throughout Bulgaria. BEST is a unique opportunity as there are not many after-school activities that allow us to travel and meet other Bulgarian students like ourselves.
Plus, it is extremely helpful in working on advancing our English, public speaking, and overall artstic skills. It's also tons of FUN!
Our next tournament (Nationals!!) will take place in Plovdiv, Bulgaria; we are in the process of preparing our pieces as we speak!!
Here's why we need YOUR help! Accomodation and travel can be quite expensive and a heavy burden on students and their families. Additionally, this is the first year our team has had the opportunity to compete in tournaments, and the financial burden of raising money for this amount of students to compete is significant.
Here's what your donation will go towards:
$20 will cover one student's hotel stay
$10 will cover registration
$15 will cover one student's transportation
