Brett Kinnard’s Road to Recovery

Brett Kinnard had a stroke on 12/08/17. The stroke has affected his speech and the right side of his body. At the moment he understands but can’t hardly speak, only being able to say single words and some phrases. Even then, he struggles because he knows what he wants to say but can’t formulate the right words. He has dulled sensation in his right leg and arm. He can move his right leg very little and his right arm has only had spontaneous movements. Brett will hopefully be in rehab in the next couple of days. He is going to need at least 6 weeks of grueling rehabilitation therapy to help re-train his brain. On top of that he will need at least 3+ months of outpatient speech and physical therapy. These funds will help assist Brett and his family with immediate medical bills and long term speech and physical therapy treatment. Brett and his family face a long road to recovery and your thoughts and prayers are needed.
