Funding the Dufrene Family's Future

My Brother Eric and I need your help. Things have been very hard for us for a very long time now. We wished that we could work to help us but we are too young. Let me tell you a little about what is going on in our lives, My Dad passed away due to suicide in October of last year. Not even three weeks later our dog Holly passed away suddenly. At the time of my Dad's death, we lived in a house that my parents owned. Because my Dad had no insurance or anything, we couldn't keep the house with just my Mom's salary, so the bank took it. We lived with my grandparents for a little while, and then we were finally able to get a little place of our own that my Mom rents. Two months after we moved, My Mom's job let her go. She has been out of work for almost 9 months now, and has been unable to find a job. She got a short job working at a Summer camp, but that was temporary. On top of not being able to find work, She no longer has a car to use so she would not have a way to get to a job anyway. Things are starting to get very bad around here. We recently had to make a very hard decison, that broke all of our hearts. We had to give up our cat Violet even though she brought us so much joy. She had medical issues that we could not afford to take care of. We are tired of seeing my Mom being up all night worrying and crying over all of this. It is making her physically ill because she is unable to do anything about it. We also see the huge toll it is taking on our grandparents. They run around, trying to help us constantly even when it makes life harder for them. My Brother Eric and I feel helpless because we can't do anything either. We chose to do this because my Mom is too embarrased and ashamed to ask for help. Going through this is hard enough but when you're struggling to deal with the loss of a loved one, it makes it feel impossible. We never thought that we would ever have to worry about something as simple as having food, electricity, and especially a place to live. We are trying to be hopeful and believe that eventually things will get better, but we can't do it alone. We would greatly appreicate any help, big or small. Every little bit counts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, you help keep our hope alive.
