My First Missions Trip!

In March 2019, I am so so so excited to say I'll be going on my first ever missions trip to El Salvador! My move to St. Louis, now six years ago, has by far been one of the biggest steps I've ever taken, but venturing outside of the U.S. to a dangerous and poverty stricken area will be one of the greatest. 

It's been on my heart to go on a missions trip for a few years now, and while I can blame a busy schedule for my delay, I believe God used this time to prepare my heart for the people I will meet, the things I will see and things we will do to help those in need. He has shown me how important it is to love freely and deeply, more than ever before, and how important our time on earth is to share His love and make time for the things He has purposed in our hearts to do and be. One of those things for me is his hands and feet to love people, especially children, and I cannot wait to see their little faces!

So, this is that time for me, and I get emotional every time I think about what this week in March will be for me and the precious people I will get to meet. I am so grateful for those who have prayed with me and for me in this journey, and I appreciate all the prayers yet to be prayed more than any dollar that's given.
