Helping with medical bills

In May 2019 Ken was diagnosed with lung cancer. From there, things have been a whirlwind of treatment and surgery. Ken did have surgery on June 20th to remove the lower 1/3 of his left lung. The doctor told us we are on the fast track to get this treated and hope for it to go in remission. As many of you know my husband, he is a fighter and will fight this till he wins. He has been a Union member of CWA since May of 1982 and an officer of Local 6171 for 14 years. He was very disappointed when the doctor recommended we start chemo and not attend the convention. I  watched as he has gone through 5hr treatments and still do his job for the members of the local.

The reason we are asking for help, we need help with the medical bills. The company I work for is letting me be with my husband during all his treatments. I have to take FMLA, non paid, which has put a financial strain on us.  Treatment will be lengthy and expensive.   We would like to thank each and every one of you for any help you can offer or just a simple prayer. Ken is already saying he will be at the 78th convention to thank everyone in person.
