A major accomplishment this year was moving the blog to Qspirit.net . The new website makes my work much more accessible through mobile devices, social media and search engines.
Moving the blog was a huge effort, but it was worth it because traffic almost doubled to 95,000 annual sessions this year. More people also signed up for the Jesus in Love Newsletter , where the mailing list grew by 11 percent to 1,456 subscribers.
I am determined to keep on communicating the spiritual value of LGBTQ lives as expressed through religion, history, art, saints, books and queer visions of Christ .
Since I launched JesusInLove.org in 2005, it has grown to include the popular Jesus in Love blog and e-newsletter , the Qspirit.net website and the Spanish-language Santos Queer .
Q Spirit means queer spirituality. It also stands for quality and questioning spiritual assumptions. Q Spirit and Jesus in Love are my gift to the world.
