Ancaster Heritage Days has been going strong since 1979. It's the annual flag-ship event for Ancsater Village. And best of all, it's free for the whole family!
We have seen our attendance drastically increase over the past few years, the quality of our events increase, and the support we have received from local businesses and sponsors increase. However, as with most things in life, our costs also increase each year. Things like insurance, road closures, and entertainment all increase each year. While our sponsorships continue to grow, so does our operating budget.
We are asking the residents of Ancaster to consider financially supporting this great event. All donations will go directly to our annual budget for Heritage Days and A Village Christmas (formerly the Tree Lighting). We are a provincially incorporated not-for-profit organization; we file a yearly T2 Corporation Tax Return and will gladly disclose our funding model and budget. We are entirely volunteer supported with no paid staff.
Our annual goal of $10,000 through this fundraising campaign will greatly assist in continuing to maintain and grow Ancaster Heritage Days for generations to come.
