Help Me Live Through Psychosis

Hi! Thanks for visiting my crowdfunding campaign.
I'm a young, black, queer living in London with psychosis. Two years ago I had an episode that has taken until now to even begin to subside and I am finally feeling close to 'normal'.
Throughout the two years I have been a student, as well as writing freelance and campaigning on social justice issues. I took breaks where I could, but for the most part I have had to continue studying and working through the heardest period of my life because I just couldn't afford the time off.
Thankfully some very dedicated and close friends gave me the care that has kept me alive, and now I'm asking for your help.
I need funds to make this respite a recovery. For me mental health is hugely dependent on impacting factors that we all live through. If we're stable in life, that can help us to be stable in mind.
For the moment my life is somewhat stable: I recently moved out of a house which was making me even more ill, to somewhere calm and caring. I am still working to get my degree with the university being kind of accomodating. But financially this won't be lasting long. Despite applying for Personal Independence Payment from the DWP I was denied even on appeal. I haven't got the energy to go to tribunal at the moment either. I don't have the means to pay rent right now and I'm about to run out of the money to get me to and from class each day. I'm also unable to keep up with day to day costs of living and paying bills just yet.
Things are likely to get better in the New Year when I get my next student loan payment, but even that will be short lived if it all goes towards paying debts accrued from now.
That's why I'm looking to your help and generosity to get me stable and to allow the best possilbe start to next year for me and my mental health.
The money raised will:
- Pay next month's rent and bills
- Repay loans from friends who are also financially unstable
- Get me to university
- Get my ability to phone and text friends back
- Keep me able to pay for prescriptions
