My name is Mary Black Bonnet and I need to raise funds to attend the Indian Child Welfare (ICWA) conference. My workshop was picked by a panel to be presented at the confrence which will take place in StPaul, MN; April, 3-6, 2016.
The money raised will fund my registration fee, my lodging, my gas and my food during the three days.
I have included a video talking about this and I also read the proposal I submitted, for those interested in hearing what I have to say.
This is an important topic and an important conference that many people, agencies, families and indviduals will benefit from in an educational way.
I hope that you can support me in quest to attend this conference.
I would like to receive the funds no later than February 24, 2016, to ensure that I can reserve my room and make the rest of my plans accordingly.
My life experinces have not been easy, but they have provided me with lessons, knowledge, perspective and a compassion for others that I may not have, if I hadn't lived through them. I am not just a survior of my experiences, but a thriver of life.
