Hello Friends,
As most of you know, our dear Yanibel is off Bethel School, to one of it's sisterschools, specialized on discipleship. (link:https://www.bssdhumboldt.com/)
I reach out to you because I believe that this community within church is and continues to be her family, regardless of her leaving, as she's given us the privilige to be part of her journey through these season(s) of life.
This month and a half I've had the opportunity to be close through the ups and downs of her life first hand... On brief, it's been a rough month.
Either way 1) I believe you have shown your affection and support to her aka Looks like you (specifically you) care for her 2) We are the church, the body of Christ, a family, that regardless of preference, color, gender or position have been called to grow in unity and in love toward one another.
I believe God put in my heart this idea of starting a fund raiser for Yanibel, as a tangible way of supporting her.
I know asking money is no "walk on paradise" as it's not secret money doesn't come easy (none the less in this city) + I do know some of us are saving, intentionally.
SO the proof of fire, for the cause, is this:
This is a matters of the heart, So I'd encourage you to take a look at your heart to see if you desire, feel moved to give to this cause. Feel free if you do not feel called to give to the cause, it is what it is + God knows your heart and that's all that matters.
Also I know that a message asking how she is doing or a word of encouragement can do much in people's life and I know would mean a lot to her. Plus I know there are other ways she would appreciate support, and it's just a phone call or message away...
