Welcome to my fundraising page!
This page is to help me fundraise for Yale Men's Rugby tour to Hong Kong and Japan in March of 2018. This is a two-week-long tour where we will train alongside international teams, participate in events leading up to the Rugby World Cup 2019 in Japan, and build relationships with rugby clubs across Asia. Although we have received a number of generous donations from alumni, we as players on the team are tasked with raising over $30,000 in order to fund the trip's expenses and sponsor students who may not otherwise be able to afford to go.
This year, I'm the social chair for the team, as well as a second row forward. Joining the rugby team has been one of the best decisions I've made at Yale, and traveling to Asia with the team will be an amazing experience.
My goal is to raise $500. This money will help ensure that every player on the team is able to go, regardless of his financial situation. Additionally, if I reach my goal by the end of today (October 26th), I will dress up as a Naruto character for a week, running from class to class with my arms stretched out behind me for maximum speed. A number of other players on the team have the same dare put in place, so please donate if you want to see a team of ninjas sprint around Yale for a week, possibly even sparring on Cross Campus or at Toad's.
