In Loving Memory of Yaisa and Joceline Cordero

Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we recall the sudden and devastating loss of Yaisa "Yashi" Cordero and her daughter Joceline Cordero. On April 17, 2019 Yaisa and Joceline were tragically gunned down in front of their London, Ohio home by someone they once loved. This loving mother and daughter are the victims of domestic violence.

Yaisa, 40, is a woman of faith, family, and belly laughs. As the oldest of eight siblings, Yaisa was the matriarch and took care of everyone else's needs before her own. She truly was one of a kind and the emptiness we feel is gut-wrenching. Yaisa is my sister. She's a mother, a daughter, a caretaker, a best friend.  Trying to sum up her entire existence in a few words doesn't do justice to the impact she left on so many lives.

Joceline, 25, was Yaisa's first baby. Her curly red hair was eye catching, but it was her silliness that won peoples hearts.  She just had the power to make people smile. It was her gift. Joceline was free spirited and family oriented just like her mom. They took their last breaths together and will be laid to rest together.

Yaisa left behind two sons who now have to cope with the loss of not only their mother, but also their big sister. Your generous donation will help take care of the boys during this traumatic time as well as the unexpected funeral expenses.
