Jeanette's Farewell Fund

Nonny was more than a grandmother to me, she was a mother to me, she was a friend, as she was to so many, and she was respected as well. I want to honor her in the best way I know how.

Unfortunately, as it happens with so many families, there was no life insurance policy. She and her husband were social security check to check and the medical bills have mounted and with Pop having cancer as well it has taken a detrimental financial toll on the family. That is an entirely different subject, what matters most now is being able to properly send her off.

Jeanette requested to be cremated, and she deserves to have a memorial service where her friends and family can pay their respects, as well as have an obituary in the paper to honor her life. We have pooled our money together and there is still a final cost that we aren't even close to making. I am hoping with your help, no matter how small or large the contribution, that we will be able to give Nonny/Jeanette/Rudy the dignity she deserves in death that she exuded in life.

Jeanette was a mother, a friend, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a wife, and so much to so many people. She had a fighting spirit and a sense of humor that shocked everyone right down to the hospice nurses at the very end...some of the things that came out of her mouth are exactly the things that earned her the nickname Rudy!! I can't tell you how much any help at all would mean to the family. Thank you for your time and any assistance you may be able to provide in getting us closer to our goal.
