Get Belle Up and Running!

We are aking for help.  Our poor baby has been having a hard time getting around the past month and we figured out quickly that it was not just a sore leg or even early arthritis.  It turns out that she tore her ACL.  Everytime she goes to stand or put weight on the leg, the femur slides/rubs on the back of the tibia, which just as it sounds, is very uncomfrotable.  She is learning to barely put any weight on that leg, but with her personality, not being able to be as active as we all know Belle to be has made her a very sad depressed pup.  Not to mention she is in a lot of discomfort.  We have seen 3 specialists and finally have found a surgeon who can fix this for Belle.  Beucase she is so large we can not just replace the ligament, but what they will do is cut the bone and re set it so that the ligament is not even necessary and she will have a super strong knee.  It is also common that if it happens to one knee it will likely happen to the other so it is important we get her fixed up quickly.  She is going to have the surgery at the end of July. We will keep everyone posted on her progress. This is a very costly surgery (roughly $3,200 beucase of her size) and we are asking for any help that can be given, even in the smallest amount.   We appreciate your help and if you can not donate we totally understand, just think good thoughts for Belle!
