Many of you know my mom Joanna Jakowiak as a wonderful, loving, hardworking woman that would go out of her way to help anyone. Recently out of no where my mother started suffering from bad headaches and numbness on her left side. The way she is, she tried coping with it on her own until she was unable to stand or move around by herself. She was taken to the hospital and the MRI showed a huge mass with two lesions in her brain stem and temporal lobe. She is in a lot of pain, very weak and unable to take care of herself. Doctors so far stated that they are not able to operate as of right now due to how risky the area of this tumor is when extracted. Her only chance of recovery is to be transferred to a hospital that specializes in brain tumors. My father is also very sick and in need of care, my mom was the only one paying all house bills while I attended school. This unexpected tragedy put us in a very difficult financial situation.
I would like to ask for your help in funding our basic needs so I can take care of my parents. She has many expenses that I am not able to
fund. I would like her recovery to be as least stressful as possible. Being the only child with no family around, it is very hard to realize that the main person in my life that was always there for me in any situation has been hurt this tragically. I am willing to do anything it takes to save my beloved mother. That is why I am asking for your help because I know she would do the same for anyone. I am very grateful for all of our friends that are helping us and for any of you that our story touched and are willing to help, it would mean the world to me.
