Making a Difference in El Salvador

Dear Friends and Family,

We are asking for your help in achieving our mission to make a positive difference in the lives of people who suffer great daily hardship in three Islands in El Salvador. Please help us!

In 2012, our church (Iglesia Principe de Paz-Prince of Peace), started going on mission trips to Central America. After visiting Rancho Viejo and La Priraya, two islands in El Salvador, our hearts were filled with compassion towards families living in extreme poverty conditions. During our first visit, we distributed 100 bags of groceries and 257 pairs of shoes. Our hearts were torn to see so many children crying because they were left without shoes. As we were leaving the Island, we promised to return the following year with 1,000 pairs of shoes, and we did!

Every year our goal is to raise funds to buy food, at least 250 bags of groceries, 1,000 pairs of shoes for children and the elderly, school supplies, and medicine. However, it is getting tougher and tougher each year to raise the funds to keep this going. So, we definitely appreciate your help.
