For the past several years, I have had the pleasure of being a part of Josh and Alyssa Wilson’s lives. I have been there to celebrate their marriage, their first home purchase, and births of their two beautiful daughters, Ainsly and Ila. It comes with great heart ache to be setting up this account.

In January 2014 Josh Wilson was dealt a devastating blow. After a stretch of unrelenting headaches, it was discovered he had a large, malignant brain tumor. Alyssa was pregnant at the time with their second daughter. While given this difficult prognosis, Alyssa and Josh were, and continue to be, committed to remaining positive, hopeful and aggressive in this fight. Following weeks of chemo and radiation things were going well. Unfortunately, this past August it was discovered that the tumor continues to grow. Josh and his wife are both teachers in Vancouver Public Schools. With the tumor continuing to grow, Josh is unable to work.

They are eternally grateful for family, friends, schools, and the community who continue to show endless support and compassion during their battle.
