So in Early November i wasnt feeling good and thought I might have an infection so went to the ER.
Turned out I Did have an infection. Plus a couple large chunks of necrotic tisssue l needed cut out. And my blood sugar was over 600. What felt like the flu was actully the start of the blood going septic. Kidneys were on the brink of failing, and there was a week or so when I was on constant dialysis.
All in all, spent 3 weeks in the ICU taking care of sugar and keeping the wound under watch, and entirely unconcious for all of it. After Thanksgiving, finally got into a rehab center to start recovery, but it's damn slow-going. Dialysis is still a thing, it's only once every couple days for six hours. Physical Therapy is going alright, when I can get them in the room, no longer just vegging out in bed. Fortunately lost a good bit of weight, but that could be because of the lack of real food.
Current bills for my visit to Geauga alone are sitting at a heafty 60,000$. Not counting whatever costs are at the Clinic or here at the rehab center. So any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Bills are racking up like crazy and I have other things to worry about right now.
