Pinwheels for Prevention
Tax deductible
Pledge a Pinwheel for Survivors of Child Abuse!
Pledge a pinwheel in support of a survivor of child abuse, or a cause or provider who has made a positive impact in the area of child abuse. Pinwheels will be displayed starting April 19th in Bourbonnais at the intersection of Rte. 45 and Rte. 102, next to the Children's Memorial Statute. A list of donors and their honoree(s) will be shared as well, unless your donation is anonymous.
Pinwheels are $5 when purchased in person. To cover the cost of GoFundMe fees (approx. $.84/transaction), we are asking that you consider donating $6 for each Pinwheel sponsored over GoFundMe. That will ensure we meet our goal of selling 500 Pinwheels for Prevention and raising $2,500 for Child Network.
100% of the proceeds from this fundraiser will benefit Child Network. Child Network relies on generous support from the community to improve the response to child sexual and physical abuse and to advocate for the best interest of children in foster care. Your investment will be used to strengthen core services and enhance our capacity to serve families for many years to come. Without Child Network, it would be difficult to ever hold child molesters accountable and obtain justice for their victims; we need a strong Child Network, and your help goes a long way toward improving and supporting their work.
