 TERRE HAUTE, IN
As everyone knows my mom had a cardiac arrest on New Years Eve. She is in critical care ICU at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. When she does start to regain consciousness she will have a long road of recovery. The reason I started this page is to help my parents with medical bills and also to help with any needed therapy she will need. We fully believe in the power of prayer and know she will come back to us. She is a fighter and will fight to the end! The funds we are raising will help my mom with therapy and also help pay for medical costs the insurance won't pay. We appreciate all the prayers and well wishes to her in Indiana from everyone!!

Thank you all for the prayers and support! My mom is finally breathing on her own and has moved out of ICU! My family greatly appreciates the support you have given my mother. Our love to you all!

I wonder if the lady who was upset realizes that her negativity has been a major blessing to this family....her anger and the subsequent comment from Kilroy's has lead to people learning about this gofundme and supporting this family. You are almost at the amount you requested in 17 hours. Without that woman, this incident could have happened all too quietly. Let us pray for, not only this family and this mother for healing and grace, but also for the angry customer - that she may learn to feel more peace and love in her life. The Lord works in mysterious ways, and this is clear evidence. Prayers for your mother's complete healing. ♥

I will be praying for your family. Unfortunately at this time i can not donate because my family is going through a difficult time ourselves since my 10yr old daughter just recieved a new beautiful heart. So to Mr. Harry David im so very sorry you think im disgusting and a lazy retard because im offering prayers instead of money, i hope you find that heart inside of you and realize some of us are going through different types of situations where we can't donate financially but can donate our time to say a prayer for this family.

Not sure why my message didn't post to my donation but here it is anyway: Hi from the UK! Mums are the most precious people in the world. Bless you for doing such a nice thing for her. Your story is being covered by our media over here too. I hope she recovers and that you reach your target. Best wishes, Chris

This lady probably has medicare as someone suggested she apply for, however, medicare only pay 80% of the hospital bill and if you go to rehab they pay for care for the first 20_days and then copays kick in the more time youre there. They also dont pay for any drugs once you get out of the hospital unless you have a separate drug plan. And therrs alot meficare doesnt pay for. People dont realize that if you end up in the hospital and have medicare and go into a rehab you could end up owing thousands and thousands of dollars just in copays

My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. Upon reading the selfish message from a customer of Kilroys that same evening, I am proud of the manager who responded to the message, and stood up for this family. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I learned about your mom's illness through the unfortunate story of the heartless rant posted online about Kilroy's. It enraged me that someone could be so oblivious and evil, but more importantly I hoped to see a example of how the worst of human nature could usher in the best. It's heartening to see so many supporting your mom in her fight. God bless her as she recovers, and may he strengthen your whole family through her recovery.

I look after my own mother and she is 101 years old. She suffered a stroke just before she turned 100 so she cannot talk or eat. She is fed by a PEG tube. Mothers are precious and teach us so much. I pray for this mother and her family and I pray too for Holly. " Out of evil cometh good" and I deeply believe this. God bless you all

Little did she know how much she would help your mother. Your goal has been exceeded, but please accept this for her continuing care, or for a payment forward after her recovery, which we're all hoping for!
