Enter Aotearoa: the New Zealand arc

I was feeling a bit antsy thinking about going to a new city without any connections or contacts and how the whole situation would play out. But there was a thirst of novelty that was past overdue in the dorm-rooms of my college in Portland where I was one of a mere three Native-American students. So I set out on my own form of coping with the lack of anything familiar, surprisingly the familiarity began to return with the thrills of becoming immersed in the freeing remoteness of solo travel.

The same passion that exploded in the feeling filled running and climbing of the sandstone cliffs on my country was made familiar again in the experience of spontaneous travel; which in best terms can be described as a process of creating and being created at the same time.

My name is Atsatsa Antonio and I am the quiet sometimes loud Navajo kid from the decorated landscape of the Navajo Indian Reservation.

And once again the opportunity to embark into a new world of perceptions and ideas is on the horizon. A new world where everything but the central values change, a grand exploration of the world and the self ... enter Aotearoa; the Māori identification of their sacred islands of New Zealand.

The money goal is a bit far stretched but I think there is a collective desire in the minds of driven people to cling to this abstract idea of freedom and its ability to spark cool things. The money raised would cover mainly travel and living expenses and more importantly allow leeway for the crazy and all too common mishaps of travel, but any amount raised would be of the utmost value.

I am currently in the lands of Australia and the soonest time I can get over to the Islands of New Zealand would be on the 21 of April. Any funds raised by then would be put towards the trip's travel and accommodation costs.
